The beautiful Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios, is one of the most visited places in Jamaica. The most popular activity is climbing up the falls and then hanging out in one of the several lagoons or pools along the way. When you are a good climber, start at the Caribbean Sea, all the way down. This beach is well-known of the scene of Ursula Andress walking out on the beach, featured in the James Bond Movie “Dr. No”
Bring your water shoes and swim suit.
Like to try something different? Choose for Little Dunn’s where you’ll be able to climb small cascades falls, which ends in the ocean.
Enjoy your drink from the local bar where reggae tunes cheer you up. A look out over the ocean, a dip in the turquoise waters and natural fresh water showers form the Dunn’s River will make your day complete.
The local tour guides are willing to help you climbing the falls, a tip will be appreciated as they are responsible for keeping the place clean.
NOTE
It will be a long day. From Negril to the Mausoleum will be 4-4.5 hours drive (and back). When you prefer to take it easy and slow, choose only 1 attraction with some sight seeing on the way.
