Relaxing at private ‘Half Moon Beach’ with tour to nearby ‘Abingdon Estate Great House’; beach, snorkeling at coral reef, lunch and a visit at the island bar Calico Jack’s Pirate Shack.
We start the day with a visit at The Abingdon Estate Great House, founded in 1674 as a fortified sugar plantation. The Great House and plantation yard sits high upon a hill facing the sea. During plantation times it was terraced to the sea in Sugar Cane. On the grounds there is a 350 year old sugar mill, missing only the working parts; the original structure is intact.
Time for a moment in paradise: relax at the private Half Moon Beach in a beach chair or hammock and have an amazing time snorkeling at the undisturbed coral reef, reachable by boat.

A short boat ride will bring you to Calico Jack’s Pirate Shack, the astonishing island bar (weather permitted).
Bring your snorkeling gear, swim suit, sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
Half Moon Beach does not allow bringing your own food and drinks. Reservations at least one day beforhand. Half Moon Beach is an easy 20-30 minutes drive from Negril
